How to Set Personal IDs for Contractors, Staff and Visitors

Method 1: Using VR Portal (for staff members and contractors)

Logon to VRF, navigate to Contractors> Contractors and find the contractor.

Click the icon next to the contractor’s name.

Add in the barcode number required into the ‘Personal ID’ box and select ‘Update’ (this will update overnight).

The contractor can then use that barcode to sign in and out.

Method 2: When registering on the VR appliance itself (for visitors and contractors)

Enter the visitor or contractors details into Self Registration. Before using the the 'Press to register' button, scan the barcode you want to use.

This pop up box will ask you to confirm the barcode. Select 'Yes - Do it' to continue and link the person to the barcode.

The person can then use that barcode to sign in and out.
