Loading Staff via an Excel Spreadsheet

VisitorRego is able to load staff from an Excel spreadsheet. The process of loading staff from an Excel spreadsheet involves mapping database fields.

Excel must be installed on the machine in question to utilise this function.

1. From VisitorRego's Admin mode choose Options> Data Load> Load Staff from Excel.



The Staff Load from Excel Spreadsheet window will open allowing you to select the file and map the columns in the spreadsheet to the fields in the VisitorRego database.

2. Click the three dot button  to select the Excel spreadsheet file to open.

3. Enter the row number of the column names. This will be the row number where the column names are listed (e.g. Name, Mobile, Email).

4. Click the database drop-down fields to the right of each of the column names from the Excel spreadsheet, then select the database field that they should be mapped to.

5. Once all of the fields are mapped, click the Load Staff From Excel button to load all staff from the Excel spreadsheet.
