Setting up contractor companies

Setting up contractor companies

You can manage site requirements at a company and individual contractor level.

When a contractor signs in, VR will check the requirements for the company and contractor. If either level is not compliant the contractor will be denied access.

Setting up a contractor company

From the Contractor tab, click the Contractor Companies drop down.

Click the  icon to add a new contractor company.

Enter the name of the company and click Add Contractor Company.

Select the newly added contractor company. This will open the contractor company profile page. Any contractors with the same company name will be automatically added to this company.

Assigning a company manager

A company manager can be assigned if they have already been added as a contractor.

Select the managers email address from the Manager Email drop down field.

If the manager hasn’t been added yet, you can add them by clicking on the  icon under the contractors section of the page.

Assigning a manager allows them to upload their own company specific supporting documents to a permit.

Adding permits to a company

In the Permits and Insurance section, click the  icon.

The Add Permits pop up will display any permits that have already been set up. If you need a permit that is not on the list, you can add them by clicking the Add New Permit button.
Select any permits that apply to the company and click the Add Checked Permits button.

This will add the permits in the Permits and Insurance section.

Uploading a company specific supporting document to a permit

To upload a company specific supporting document to a permit you have added, click the icon in the Upload column. Select the file to upload by clicking the Choose File button, then click the Upload Document button to add the file to the permit.

Certify a company permit

To certify a permit you have added, click the cross symbol  in the Certify column.

The certify pop up will display the permit details and the current date and a date 12 months in the future will be automatically populated.
If you need to change either date you can use the keyboard, date picker or +12 months button.

Then click the Certify button.

The date of certification and expiry will be updated in the company profile and the cross in the certify column will become a tick.
