Password protecting Self Registration (Pre V10)

This article applies to VisitorRego versions prior to V10. For information on password protecting the self registration screen in V10 or higher, please refer to the knowledge base article Password protecting Self Registration.

You can set up a password to prevent people from moving between Self-Registration and Admin Mode.

You can set the password from Admin mode.

Choose Options> System Setup> Self Registration tab.



Enter the password you wish to use into the Password field and click Apply to hold the changes.


Now when you try to exit Self Registration mode by tapping on VisitorRego.com in the corner of the screen, you will not be able to unless you enter the password into the name field first.

When entering the password into the name field to exit Self Registration, leave the cursor in the Name field at the end of the password. This will pull focus into this field allowing you to exit.
