How To Make Appointments using VR Portal (Pre V10)
This article applies to VisitorRego versions prior to V10. For information on appointments in V10 or higher, please refer to the knowledge base article Pre-Registration Overview.The steps below show you how to enter details and make an appointment for a visitor through VR Portal.
Navigate to Register> Appointments. The Appointments page displays all appointments (both future and past).

If you are managing parent/child sites select which site you wish to make the new appointment for. Click on the drop down menu next to Appointments to select the site.
To add an appointment click the
icon at the top left of the table.
Enter relevant information and press ‘Update’.
When a person with a set appointment registers, their details will be automatically populated once they enter their first and last names.
To export this information from the Register> Appointments tab to an Excel spreadsheet, click the Excel icon and follow the prompts to download.
Most VisitorRego units are set to pull any updated information from VR Portal overnight providing there is an internet connection.
It is recommended to make the appointments the day before they occur to ensure they are pulled down from VR Portal to your VisitorRego unit. The appointments can then be viewed through VisitorRego. Refer to the knowledge base article Viewing Appointments for more information.
Once your appointments are made you have the option to pre-print labels for your visitors, sign them in, or sign in and print labels. Refer to the knowledge base article Viewing Appointments for more information.
