File Locations

File Locations

File locations define the directories where system resources are located (e.g. label templates, ID photo's).

File locations are specific to the workstation (i.e. they don't apply all work stations on the network).
The file location settings apply to all users who logon to the workstation and use VisitorRego. (i.e. it's not user specific).

From VisitorRego's Admin mode choose Options> System Setup> File Locations tab.

To choose a file location directory, click the file open button to the right of the directory names, then browse to the location and click OK.

Click Apply to save the changes.

There are four file locations that can be defined. You can find further information about each one below.

Labels
The directory where all label templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing of labels between VisitorRego workstations.

Health & Safety
The directory where all health and safety instruction templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing of these instructions between VisitorRego workstations.

Photo IDs
The directory where all health and safety instruction templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing these photo IDs between VisitorRego workstations. The location of this directory needs planning as there can be thousands of photo ID files taking considerable disk space.

Email Templates
The directory where all email templates are stored. This can be located on a network drive enabling sharing of labels between VisitorRego workstations.
